Maine Mendoza rocks the cosmetics world, MAC lipstick sold out in 60 seconds online

A record sale for a lipstick brand in the Philippines! Maine Mendoza’s co-designed lipstick with international makeup brand MAC was sold out in just 60 seconds after its online release on September 21.

On its Instagram account, cosmetics label MAC reported that Maine’s @mainedcm’s lipstick sold out in just one minute upon arriving in online store Lazada.

Maine’s limited-edition lipstick is a muted peachy beige shade with a matte finish. It also features an exclusive kiss-print packaging, designed and signed by Maine.

Celebrities from different TV networks showed support for the host of Eat Bulaga’s historic collaboration and as the first Filipina to have a partnership with the international cosmetics brand.

Among the stars who praised Maine on social media were Maxene Magalona, Solenn Heussaff, Allan K, Pia Guanio, Chynna Ortaleza, Ruffa Gutierrez, Antoinette Taus, IC Mendoza, Say Alonzo and Asian Games gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz.

Mendoza, the other half of the social media phenomenon and Guinness World Record holder ALDUB, first announced in January her collaboration with the international cosmetics brand as the first Filipina to be given her own lipstick shade.


Those who missed out, you still have a chance to get it today, September 22 at SM Megamall and September 23 in all MAC Stores nationwide. Launch events at SM Megamall September 22, Trinoma September 29 and SM Mall of Asia October 5.

She was known for her daring roles in movies ‘Pisil’, ‘Kesong Puti’, and ‘Anakan Mo Ako’.
