‘It’s Showtime’ host Vice Ganda has recently made headlines for announcing the wrong winner during the show’s ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ segment last Friday, September 27, 2019.
Four contestants rose to the spot during TNT’s ‘Ang Huling Tapatan,’ namely, Julius Cawaling, Shaine Allaga, Jonas Oñate, and Rafaello Cañedo.
KAMI learned that when Vice was given the results, the comedian announced that Rafaello won which meant Jonas lost.
However, the Kapamilya star immediately clarified the situation, “I’m sorry wait. We will have to clear something. So ang nakalagay sa binasa ko, uulitin ko kasi ako ay sumusunod lang sa binabasa ko.
“Ang seventh placer ay si Rafaello Cañedo ng Mindanao. Nangangahulugan na si Jonas Oñate ang pasok sa Top 6.”
The comedian furthermore apologized on his social media account, “I was just reading the prompter. Not my mistake. Sorry still. #TNT3HulingTapatanDay5.
“The prompter says announce 7’th and 8’th placer pero ang inabot sakin na envelope has the names of the contestants na pasok sa top 6. So ayun na steve harvey ako.”
The viral video also garnered various reactions from netizens on social media as well.

As reported earlier by KAMI, Vice Ganda recently posted a video on his social media account. The video showed Vice and Anne waiting inside a room before the grand finale of 'Tawag ng Tanghalan.' However, a ‘stranger’ suddenly barged inside the room much to their surprise.

Sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon, naging vocal si Andrea sa pagsasalita tungkol sa kanyang love life.
Hindi maipagkakailang maligayang-maligaya siya sa relasyon nila ni Derek.
“Babe” ang term of endearment nina Derek at Andrea sa isa’t isa, pero may pagkakataong “Chin-Chin” ang tawag ng aktor sa kanyang girlfriend.
“Mahaba daw kasi ang baba ko,” sabi ni Andrea, na hinawakan ang kanyang baba habang ipinapaliwanag ang dahilan ng pagtawag ni Derek sa kanya ng "Chin-Chin."

Pagpapatuloy ng aktor, “Yung connection naman namin was, even before extra.
"The things you’re talking about, wala naman kaming alam na magiging ganito ka-close kami.
“When we first met, we already had a connection dun sa station ID ng GMA.
"We just connected, we were just talking about pag-aartista, we did not see na may connection kami, and then nabuo.
“Alam mo, walang ano, e… Usually, pinag-iisipan mo ‘yan. It just flows naturally.
"Bukas [September 26], we’re going to Dubai very early in the morning, sa PBL,” ani Derek.
Nang tanungin naman si Andrea kung gaano siya kasaya, “Sobrang saya,” sagot niya.

"Parang ngayon lang din naman ako naging vocal.
"Ngayon din lang ako nagpu-post nang hindi family or work, sarili ko, kaya siguro halatang-halata.
"But then, ganoon nga.
“Minsan, kapag masyado kang happy, parang hindi mo ma-keep sa sarili mo.
"So, hindi mo na rin ino-overthink, nagpu-post na lang ako,” kuwento ni Andrea.
Itinuturing ni Andrea si Derek bilang “the closest guy to me right now.”
THE PARENTS
Ibinahagi naman ni Derek ang closeness sa isa’t isa ng kanyang mga magulang at ng mga magulang ni Andrea.
Mahirap daw paghiwalayin ang kanilang mga ama sa tuwing nagkikita-kita sila.
Saad ni Derek, “We both enjoy being with each other, whether it’s at work.
"She doesn’t have to go to Dubai tomorrow, pero she’s supporting me in games there.
"We are more than friends.
"We’re at that stage na we both have feelings for each other.
"It’s not just that we're both physically attracted, it’s deeper than that in the sense that she has met my parents, I’ve met her parents, our parents have met.
“My dad and her dad, kailangan mong i-separate.
"Sila [ni Andrea] ang laging magka-text ng nanay ko.
"Ako, lagi kong ka-text ang nanay niya.
“So, first time in my life na my set-up is like that.
"I’ve had my relationships in the past, but I always got along with the parents.
"I always make sure kasi, for me, that’s important.
"Pero first time na close kami.
“Ako, the parents always loved me... No, joke lang, but what I’m saying, we’re close.
"Pero yung folks niya at yung folks ko, close, because we both really prioritize family.
"This one is just so natural, we enjoy sitting down.
"I think we have about, ilang sit-downs na, mga dinner.
"Like, birthday ng dad ko, invited yung parents niya. That’s why it’s so light."
