Pacquiao family says Mommy D is not infected with COVID-19

The Pacquiao family said that the boxing legend's mother, Mommy Dionisia, is not infected with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

Senator Manny Pacquiao's wife, Jinkee, issued a statement on Thursday. GMA News reporter Mav Gonzales shared full statement on her Facebook page.
"We would like to assure the public that Mommy Dionisia is in good shape, she is very much healthy," Jinkee said. "We are very grateful to those who expressed their concerns for Mommy D."
The statement quashed rumors that the Pacquiao family matriarch has contracted the disease.
"Let us please pray for those who are infected by the Covid 19 virus and their family," Jinkee said. "To those who are spreading lies and fake news we will pray for you."
