EDDIE GARCIA PASSED AWAY AT 4:55 PM, JUNE 20, 2019.
HE WAS 90 YEARS OLD.
Kinumpirma ng pamilya ni Eddie Garcia na inatake sa puso ang beteranong aktor sa on-location taping ng isang GMA-7 series nitong umaga ng Sabado, June 8.
Ito raw ang sanhi nang naiulat na pag-collapse ni Eddie, 90, sa set ng Rosang Agimat sa Tondo, Manila.
Kritikal pa rin daw ang kondisyon ng multi-awarded actor.
"Manoy Eddie Garcia is at a taping this Saturday morning when he suffered from a severe heart attack.
"He is still under critical observation and all his doctors are doing their best to assure that he gets the best care," saad sa official statement ng kaanak ni Eddie.
Ipinadala ito sa GMA-7 reporter na si Cata Tibayan ngayong hapon.
Nagpasalamat din ang kaanak ni Eddie sa mga patuloy na nananalangin na agad na bumuti ang kalagayan nito.
"Our family would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to all those who have expressed concerns and extended prayers.
"Please continue praying for Tito Eddie's fast recovery."
Sabi pa rito: "At 90, he is still doing what he love most, acting.
"He is a pillar of the industry and is very passionate about his craft.
"We would like to request his fans and everyone to pray with us so he could get better the soonest possible. Thank you."
