Anne Curtis is new Dyesebel

After weeks of speculation, ABS-CBN finally revealed that it has chosen Anne Curtis to play the mermaid Dyesebel in a remake of the popular Mars Ravelo story.

The "It's Showtime" host, who just learned the good news the day before the Kapamilya network made its formal announcement, showed how overwhelmed she was.

“It’s another dream come true. Sobra lang akong speechless kasi napakalaking project ito. Sinasabi ko noon sa interviews dati, dream role ko ang Dyesebel. So ito na, 2014, great way to start the year," she told media in a press conference on Thursday, January 9.

She feels honored to reprise the role Vilma Santos, Charlene Gonzalez, Alice Dixson and Marian Rivera portrayed years ago.

"Lahat sila sexy. Mapasama lang doon is truly an honor. Gagawin ko ang lahat, mag-aral ng fin swimming, magpasexy lalo," Anne said.

Daniel Padilla, may non-showbiz girlfriend?

THERE SEEMS to be a very audacious girl claiming that she’s the real girlfriend of young Kapamilya actor Daniel Padilla.

Kalat na kalat na sa social media na merong isang nameless girl ang nagsasabing siya raw ang tunay na dyowa ni Daniel, a claim that she has not been able to substantiate.

We just caught this item on one Twitter account where the guy was laughing out loud when he heard that there’s a young girl na nagke-claim nga na boyfriend niya ang favorite leading man ni Kathryn Bernardo.

Nagmukhang isang malaking ilusyonada ang girl, mahirap paniwalaan ang kanyang kuwento. For how else can you buy her story when she did not even show proof of her romance with the actor.

Well, we feel na love na love ng babaeng-walang-pangalan ang hottest young actor today to the point of introducing herself as his girlfriend.

Ano kaya ang masasabi ni Daniel dito? Kilala kaya niya personally ang girl o isang malaking fan lang talaga niya ito?

Ex-PBB housemate arrested for ‘obstruction of justice’ in human trafficking case

CALAPAN CITY – A former “housemate” of popular reality television show Pinoy Big Brother was arrested last Monday (November 18) morning by elements of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) of the Philippine National Police (PNP) for “obstruction of justice” after she tried to help in the escape of a suspect in the supposed “human trafficking” case here.

Christine Marie Gonzales, also known as “Beauty” during her stint as housemate in the first staging of PBB in ABS-CBN, is now being held in custody of PNP-CIDG Region 4B unit in this city following her arrest by authorities at about 2:00 AM of November 18 in Batangas City port.
According to Police Supt. Ruel Atayde Ferrer, head of CIDG-MIMAROPA (Region 4B), they detained Gonzales and a criminal case for “obstruction of justice” is now being prepared by police investigators after she tried to help in the escape of his brother, Michael Ryan Gonzales, who was arrested last November 14 for alleged “human trafficking” case.

On a tip by informants from a CIDG unit in Visayas area, Ferrer’s men, led by deputy chief of CIDG-MIMAROPA and Oriental Mindoro CIDG head P/Chief Insp. Angela K. Trajano, waylaid a bus load of 38 men and four minors last Thursday in Calapan City port which are about to be boarded on a departing roll-on-roll-off boat.
