Sa edad na 32, aminado si Angelica Panganiban na may mga dati siyang hilig gawin na bibihira na niyang gawin ngayon dahil nagkakaedad na siya.
Aminado si Angelica na mahilig siyang uminom ng alak noon, pero bihira na raw niya itong gawin ngayon dahil hindi na siya madaling maka-recover mula sa hangover.

Isa si Angelica sa mga bida sa iWant digital series na Call Me Tita, na magsisimula na ang streaming ngayong Linggo, August 18, 9:00 ng gabi.
Siya ang tinaguriang “tita-in-training” sa serye, na pinagbibidahan din ng matatagal na niyang kaibigan na sina Mylene Dizon, Agot Isidro, Joanna Ampil, Cherry Pie Picache, at Lorna Tolentino.

Sa media conference ng Call Me Tita noong August 6, tinanong ang mga bida ng serye tungkol sa mga pisikal na konsiderasyon ng pagiging “tita,” o pagiging middle-aged woman.
Umpisang kuwento ni Angelica, “To be honest, nararamdaman ko siya sa, pag halimbawa, iinom ka.
“Dati, di ba, pag umiinom ka yung talagang iinom ka talaga. Forever kang iinom.
“Yun yung thinking mo. 'Ipinanganak ako para uminom.'
“Ganun talaga yung thinking ko nun.”
Pero iba na raw ngayon ang sitwasyon para sa aktres, dahil hindi na raw puwede na lagi siyang umiinom ng alak.
Dagdag ni Angelica, “Nung nito na, hindi ko kaya pala.
“Parang nagsimula siya ng every other day, 'tapos, 'Ay, hindi ko pala kaya ng every other day.'
“Kailangan pala weekends na lang.”

Aminado si Angelica na matagal na siya maka-recover ngayon mula sa hangover.

Kuwento pa ng aktres, “Parang ilang years na sinubukan ko. 'O sige, every other day,' 'tapos, hindi pa rin.
“'Tapos, 'O sige, every weekends na lang.' Tuwing Sunday na lang.
“'Tapos, Monday sisimulan mo yung araw mo na talagang... ang bagal. So, tatanggalin mo ulit.”
Sa ngayon, ayon kay Angelica, bibihira na lang siyang uminom.
Lahad niya, “Ise-schedule mo na lang, ganun na pala talaga ngayon.
“So feeling ko, andun yung edad.”
REFUSES NIGHT OUT WITH FRIENDS
Sinegundahan naman ni Direk Andoy Ranay ang kuwento ni Angelica.
Ayon sa direktor ng Call Me Tita, tinatanggihan na siya ngayon ni Angelica kapag niyayaya niya itong uminom.
Kuwento ni Direk Andoy, “Nagugulat nga ako sa kanya pagka minsan yung, ‘Tara, inom tayo!’ ‘Wag na, dito na lang ako sa bahay.’
“So parang, ‘Hindi na, may yoga ako bukas, e.’ 'Sige, sige, di wag na lang.'”
Sinabi naman ni Direk Andoy na respetado niya ang anumang desisyon ni Angelica, lalo na kung ito'y para sa ikabubuti ng kanyang kalusugan.
Aniya, “Nagugulat ako sa kanya, pero yun kasi, choice niya yun, e.
“Siguro ayaw na rin niya yung pakalat-kalat, painum-inom.”

‘Love Thy Woman’ star Kim Chiu has recently made headlines after giving out her honest opinion about Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson’s breakup. It can be recalled that back in 2010, Gerald was reported to have been courting Bea when he was still in a relationship with Kim. KAMI learned that Kim was asked about the two during her press conference for being the newest endorser of the shampoo brand, Nature’s Way.

Nadine Lustre and Sam Concepcion’s ‘Indak’ is failing at the box office

Nadine Lustre and Sam Concepcion’s movie Indak didn’t make much of an impact in Philippine cinemas. The movie produced by Viva Films, premiered last August 7, Wednesday in 137 cinemas—44 cinemas in Metro Manila, 52 cinemas in Luzon, and 41 cinemas combined in Visayas and Mindanao.
Indak is the first-ever Filipino dance musical film but it failed to catch the interest of most Pinoy moviegoers. It reportedly had low earnings on its opening day and on its second day, the figures declined to 35%. It was pulled out from several cinemas nationwide. Because of this, some speculated that the film will struggle to hit a P10 million mark during its whole run.
It followed the opening of the Star Cinema film Hello, Love, Goodbye starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards. As of August 13, the film earned a gross income of more than P500 million at the box office since it was released on July 31. The hit movie is currently on its second week. Some reports said that several cinemas chose Hello, Love, Goodbye and the foreign film Hobbs & Shaw over Nadine’s Indak while Michael V.’s Family History received an additional 20 cinemas.
There are rumors that the eighth-day gross income of KathDen’s movie was even higher than the first day earnings of Indak. Viva Films has not yet announced the movie’s income as of this writing.
Apart from KathDen’s movie, Indak was also competing for moviegoers’ attention with the Cinemalaya Film Festival from August 2 to August 14. The country’s biggest independent film festival is currently celebrating its 15th year. It highlighted ten full-length films and ten short feature films. The films included Edward, Pandanggo sa Hukay, John Denver Trending, Tabon, Belle Douleur, Ani, F#*@bois, Iska, Malamaya, and Children of the River.
The lack of promotions of Viva Films and competing with Hello, Love, Goodbye and Cinemalaya entries are the pinpointed reasons for Indak‘s downfall.
Indak‘s gross income is expected to pick up with its international screenings in Singapore, Dubai, (August 15) Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman (August 22), and USA (August 23).
Helmed by Director Paul Basinillo, Indak tells the story of Jen (Nadine), a dancer from the province who meets Vin (Sam) when her dance video goes viral online. Jen is then invited to be part of a dance group that’s set to compete in South Korea. She tries to come to terms with the challenges along the way.
Its cast members also include Yayo Aguila, G-Force dancers, Julian Trono, Vitto Marquez, Zarah Tolentino, Rose Van Ginkel, Race Matias, Aubrey Caraan, Keiko Nakajima, and Nicole Omillo.
