Phil Younghusband Reportedly Affected By Rumored Sex Video Between Angel Locsin And Chito Miranda

By now, it has already been official that Angel Locsin and Phil Younghusband have ended their two-year relationship. Angel confirmed the reports through a brief message posted in her social media account, while Phil released a short official statement to the press.

But showbiz bystanders and observers would not like to stop there. Naturally, they wanted to know the real cause of the breakup between the couple. Angel and Phil both refused to divulge more details as they invoked their privacy. That is why the gossip mill has again started to take its course.

So what could have possibly caused the silent but eventually talked about breakup between the two? Several showbiz insiders and sources claim that Phil must have felt threatened and insulted by reports that Angel supposedly had several recorded sex videos with former boyfriend Chito Miranda.

Phil on Angel: We remain friends

Azkals football player Phil Younghusband finally broke his silence after Angel Locsin spoke up regarding their split.

Phil posted a photo with the caption “Thank you for your support” in his Instagram account on Sunday, October 27. The rest of the message read:

"Hi everyone, in lieu of the separation, I would like to thank you for all your support throughout our relationship. It was definitely a happy one, as much as we tried to make it work we would just like to request for all of you to support us in our choice and that we respect one another in keeping our personal lives to ourselves. It is a sensitive matter and I personally apologize for taking time to let everyone know about the situation. I am grateful for your support and we hope you continue to support both of us in our each of our endeavors." 

Phil explained that no one was to blame for the breakup.

"Neither of us regret the time we spent together, we enjoyed each others company and really made the most of it. There are no faults in this, it was not an issue of who did or didnt do something, it was a mutual decision and although it was difficult we just both felt that this would be the best thing to do given our circumstances. Although we have parted as a couple, we are thankful that we remain friends and we only wish the best for each other. Thank you very much for your support." Despite this, many of Angel and Phil’s supporters hope for a reconciliation. The two officially became a couple in May 2012, a year after Phil asked Angel to be his Valentine date.
